President's Day in on Monday and some parents struggle to find care of their kids who are out of school. The Great Fall Rec Center is offering an affordable options for working parents.

Parents can drop their kids off for School's Out Fun Days starting at 8:00 am and can leave them there until as late as 5:30 pm. Kids from kindergarten to sixth grade can stay active and enjoy activities in the gym, watch a movie and spend the afternoon swimming. For some parents, this is the best available option for childcare.

?President's Day, there's a lot of parents out there who still have to work so it gives them an option to send their kids somewhere their kids aren't going to sit at home and watch TV and do nothing. They're going to be active. They're going to be participating, interacting with other kids and other friends,? said Jerry Jordan, program coordinator.

The cost is twenty dollars per child for the entire day, which staff say is far cheaper than hiring a babysitter. The only extra things the child needs to have is a packed lunch, snack and their gear for swimming. You can register in advance or the morning you drop your children off at the Rec Center.
